JSE Property Roundup - 19 Jun 2026

JSE Property Roundup - 19 Jun 2026 — Mosaic Home Services

Dividend cash flow leads the week as Vukile confirms an 83.81311c distribution and pins a 13 July pay date, while corporate action pauses for breath with Balwin’s scheme circular slipping to mid-July. Governance also flickers on the radar via a modest insider-related buy at Sirius, signalling ongoing management alignment despite a softer news tempo.

Use the ranked list below to triage what matters for your portfolio: near-term income timing, deal progress and any governance tells, then drill into the top items for cash planning. Before you act, read the original SENS notices in full and consult relevant tax guidance for your circumstances.

1. VKE — Vukile declares 83.81311c dividend; tax steps and 13 July payment date

SENS date: 17 June 2026

No shopper update here – this one’s about cash back to investors. Vukile declared a 83.81311c per share dividend; SA residents must include it in income (no dividend withholding tax if the South African Revenue Service forms are submitted), while non-residents face 20% withholding unless a tax treaty applies and documents are in. Key dates: last day to trade 7 July, ex 8 July, record 10 July, payment 13 July 2026. Speak to your CSDP or broker to get the paperwork in before payment.

2. BWN — Balwin scheme circular delayed; new deadline 17 July 2026

SENS date: 18 June 2026

Balwin’s buyout process with Bidco is moving more slowly than first flagged, with the Takeover Regulation Panel granting extra time to post the scheme circular. Instead of around 18 June, it must now be posted by Friday, 17 July 2026. A further SENS will set out the posting and key dates; this remains a scheme of arrangement for Bidco to acquire all Balwin shares (a court‑supervised buyout process).

3. SRE — CEO’s associate buys Sirius shares for pension

SENS date: 17 June 2026

A small, insider-related dealing at Sirius: Sharon Clarke-Wills, who is closely associated with CEO Andrew Coombs, bought 5,250 shares into her Self-Invested Personal Pension. After the trade she has a beneficial interest in 64,989 shares (mostly in the pension), equal to 0.0041% of the company. For tenants, staff and small traders at Sirius sites, this is just a disclosure and doesn’t change day-to-day operations.
